Volunteer Opportunities…
West Texas Gifts of Hope has many volunteer opportunities. Whether you work full time or you are retired, we can find a place for you. WTGOH relies on its volunteers to help keep the operational costs at minimum, allowing us to focus on patient programs and care. WTGOH also collaborates with West Texas Cancer Center (WTCC) to provide volunteer support. The purpose of the volunteer program at WTCC is to provide desirable services for patients and staff which supplement those provided by the paid staff. The volunteer staff is dedicated to developing and maintaining a compassionate partnership which offers an extra dimension of care and service to patients, empathy for families and visitors, and supportive services for the medical staff.
Volunteer opportunities:
- Office assistance at Hope House
- Providing refreshments for support groups
- Providing snacks and goodies at WTCC and/or Hope House
- Prayer Group Facilitation
- Yard work at Hope House
